Another Trans Shooting at a Religious School
Mayor supports trans community. Praying children killed. There were anarchistis, then communists, black radicals in the 60s, psycho teens later and now a new minority. In between we had Muslims too but they are also religious and I am now counting only left wing crazies.

Joe Rogan said that his phrase " be like water" meant to embrace all techniques and inspired MMA. I know he left Hong Kong as they were always picking street fights with him. He was 1/4 English and they thought he was unworthy to learn martial arts. People were quite racist back then. I think this inspired his openness whereas others only wanted to do one school like karate or judo, he mixed them.

NATO is not a defensive body but an imperialist battering ram like the aliens in the movie independence day. I fear they have gotten near Russia now and any peace deal is temporary. They must only wait ten years till some fool takes power to occupy the Kremlin and carve up their resources then subjugate China and India under oligarchs of the American elite class.

Jesus Real Teachings
A big religious and political institution to control behavior is what we got. However mysticism was at the beginning. In India they also have standard temple worship, texts, religious feasts like Christmas and Eastern. Islam is similar. But both have mystic directions. Gurus, sufism and in Buddhism meditation is included. Christianity has prayer. One must look inward. Scripture reading and serious prayer and belief bring us closer to God.

I have been wondering about star fandom. It seems ridiculous for people to practically worship some actor, singer. Here are maybe very secular people who get deluded into hero worship. Obviously humans need magical elements. They fall in love, worship idols. In earlier times nature and sacred places were worshipped or ancestors and then we made symbolic altars and symbolic gods. These gods were nature representations like Thor, Jehovah( both thunder gods) and then we turned to universal deities as we took more control over all of nature and lost contact with it's wonders. Later we became utterly rationalized atheists or nominally religious but practical atheists( God does not interfere in daily life but after death we get a judgement perhaps and who really thinks about that anyway so why bother?) However in the meantime as our connection with nature and religion receded we took up arts and crafts and technology. We became gods or creators in our own rights and the greatest creators were worshipped the most. Shakespeare or the Beatles, Edison, Einstein. In the romantic era love became a form of religion. This is often expressed in music, film, literature. Religion has transformed over time as well, adapting itself. God might have punished in ancient times like Thor and later they said " God is love." Really our culture is constantly in flux. The idea of being a big star also seems silly to me. If one feels meaningless in life, just a number, a face in the crowd without impact then perhaps the magical elements of being worshipped for one's talents or inborn characteristics or beauty would be satisfying and give reason to live. Many find career satisfaction generally, particularly women without children.
USA Decoupling From Western Europe in New Alliance With Conservative Global Power Russia
In terms of a dawning new age this makes perfect sense. Western Europe dominated the middle ages and up until mid 20th century. Just as Greco-Roman culture birthed European civilization before dying, Europe colonized the world and is collapsing on itself (see "Decline of the West") before leaving it's children, the colonized steppes of Russia, American plains as well as it's culture across the world. That Russia and America would want to leave the nest of their parents, old and dying, is a no-brainer. Developing the now thawing tundra of the Siberian, Alaskan, Canadian wilderness and connecting Asia, America, Russia by rail, roads, tunnels would be good. Old hostilities and friendships hold America and Russia in the grip of the Europeans. NATO is a construct to protect Europe from Russia. Europe has become a US colony. They behave still as if they were masters of the universe. However as Asia has modernized and Eastern Europe and Russia left communism far behind for modern economies and democracy, central Europe is no longer of such consequence. Zero growth, declining populations, huge debts make Western Europe less attractive long term to the USA than Russia and central East Asia while developing its own hinterlands together with Russians and Canadians and possibly experiencing a new frontier and population boom as the climate improves in the north and the plains, and western US become deserts long term. This will be the new civilizational paradigm of the next thousand years, not Western Europe.

I think this confirms my theory of civilizational burnout. Without the sacred in daily life, without magic in relationships then people despair of existence. They teach us in school that god is like Santa, a fairy tale to keep us being good citizens but there is certainly more to this as in ancient shamanism.

There is an important astrological cycle that occurs every twenty years, conjunctions of Jupiter and Saturn. These signify societal expansion vs. contraction. There are twelve zodiac signs and four elements. Three signs each fall in each element of fire, earth, water and air. The great conjunctions occur in an 800 year cycle where for about 200 years Jupiter and Saturn meet in one element. The great mutation is when they switch to another element. The cycle moves from water to fire to earth to air. The severest collapse, dark ages appear to occur in air signs. I would call this civilizational burnout. In year 400-600, 1200-1400 and now from 200-2200 we could expect similar. The post Roman Dark Ages, plague, mongol invasions, transition to renaissance, early modern and now people are not wanting to work, marry, losing interest in everything. This downturn is moral not economic or structural. When a person reaches sixty they yearn for retirement. At eighty death is desired. I think civilizations work the same.

Solution is communism. I recall my wife saying the hard working farmers were expropriated and the layabout bums became vocal aggressive communist leaders. We see the same here. Under capitalism you complain, steal and foment revolution. Then you run communist system into the ground once you have won. The best solution to communism is monopolistic communism just as the best solution to capitalism is monopolistic capitalism. When one Rich guy owns everything then revolution is assured just like when the government manages everything.

Aliens Speak Through Pilot
I find it interesting that aliens became a topic once air, then space travel were achieved. Obviously aliens could land, meet us as neanderthals, cro-magnon, ancient Romans, Egyptians or could discuss problems with whales, dolphins or ravens. The idea is that a species became threatening to the earth as a whole or threatened contact outside so in itself became interesting to them.
