Is Enlightenment an Experience or a Knowledge? Consequences?

I remember the saying "the medium is the message". If we become changed by practice into a sort of tuning fork in tune with God then we perceive the knowledge God sends. Of course this is both experience and knowledge and deepens as we get more in tuned. Entropy is disorganization. We are really a system of energy and through yogic practice lose entropy unlike one who lives in dissipation.
