UN Accuses Israelis of Sexual Violence Against Palestinians

Obviously racism is dehumanizing to both sides. It likely originates in widely different cultures and people meeting at a crossroads. Like early European colonialism when extreme eurocentrism and cultural ignorance resulted in genocide and slavery it seems that the Israeli middle eastern colonization from Europe has a similar effect. Jews were highly educated, Arabs were poor farmers on the whole. Jews have a high level of sophistication, little sympathy for their poor neighbours. It reminds me of white Americans attitudes towards poor Mexicans on the other side of the southern US border. Life is cheap there one presumes. "They have babies like rabbits, zero education, die early, etc. We live long, have few but highly educated children, are essentially a higher race. " I recall the Monty Python skit 'Every sperm is sacred' which portrays the same attitude of the English towards the Irish, whom they enslaved brutally for centuries. Romans did the same to their neighbours 2000 years ago. Nothing much changes. Some people gets a leg up, then suppresses others until they learn all the tricks of culture, technology over time and it evens out. In a sense then this is inevitable historically when people's meet at different developmental phases of their societies. We could wish that an individual would have free will to see beyond such superficialities to deeper truths than mere cultural attrapments but the trend goes against that.
