If something external, not Just regular average ego trajectory like everybody has, directs you, then you nor others won't get it and there will be misunderstandings. Imagine an addict. If the family or friends know about the addiction then they can predict behavior. Otherwise they are clueless. Likewise as Awakening becomes more common, replacing materialistic mindset the people will respect this and lives won't be ruined.
