The Stupidity of GDP per Capita

I am an American who lives in Germany and I appreciate the reality described. The advantage of America is in encouragement of hi tech development by immigrants which then radically alters the global landscape and that since 150 years. For the average person there are much better places to live. IOW geniuses have democratized the world by giving us cars, fast food restaurants, internet, cheap reusable rockets and spreading these ideas like universal education, entrepreneurialism. So the modern world was built because of America but living there can be dog eat dog survival. Next comes AI and robots to ease our lives but in American everyone will lose their job while elsewhere governments and unions will negotiate the situation humanely and not let one man become a trillion aire and the rest starve due to pure capitalistic logic.
