Visiting family. Huge transit airports in summer are a nightmare. Flight fear real after over twenty years on solid ground. Flying over arctic greenland, polar oceans unpleasant. couldn't relax for sleep, movies. missed plane connection. got wifi, emails, whatsapp in terminal so all informed about chaos and moving on. Then back to germany and routine. 25 years not visited! Most dead or gone. Traveling alone without kids, wife. Feels odd but they are grown, me and wife had different work vacations so going home to visit at almost 60 was an idea.
