Mother - Pink Floyd -The Wall (1980)

I listen to this and see boomer circumstances. smothering mom, rebellion against state.  Xers had it really different and millenials overprotect their kids I hear, like their 

parents. Anyway Pink Floyd still haunts me though it wasn't my music in that sense. My generation is closer to Madonna or Prince though still older, late 50s birth yearsbut that was MTV in high school and walkman like REM and Eurythmics casettes I had in college. So older generation dominates music tastes but is not us. Maybe our grandparents or great grandparents are like us in many ways but we can't ever realize that as we never get to know how life was when they were our age and technology was so different but in generational structure lots of stuff was repeating.
