A fascinating picture of so many cultures. We tend to homogenize nowadays, and even unisex is desired in our attempt to be nondescriminatory. In a more primitive world that existed for thousands of years and where people like Jesus could live their entire lives hardly ever traveling 50 miles from home hundreds, even thousands of languages and dialects and clear ethnic groups and cultures existed. Due to gradual regionalization and globalization many languages have been dissolved into one( german, Italian, french) but regional accents remain. I posted an accents video. If left alone, over time in isolation these accents would again become separate languages and tje people speaking them would attain distinct physical characteristics due to inbreeding in a small group as typical in human history. I posted on collapse and if this occurs as seems likely, surviving humans will go primitive and like previous indian tribes, become again tribal. No more cool, metropolitanism one worlders from ' imagine' song but rather suspicious tribes with local gods helping them at war against neighbouring small clans for a small piece of fertile land. Scientists say that our brain has however shrunk but gotten more efficient so that we will not simply repeat the stone age. We have evolved, literally, since the last ice ages so ' progress' in some sense must be presumed although if we have screwed up the planet to such an extent it seems our intelligence is being wasted on an unworthy animal fulfilling ego needs without any sense of balance in nature. Perhaps progress when unbalanced gets things akimbo. Dinosaurs lived in a lush world with little competition, became huge. We realized intelligence without similar competition and destroyed all animal life(97% is us or our animals). So earth or God will rebalance this naturally. We either come into balance with nature or go extinct, perhaps taking most or all of the biosphere with us. If land and sea fertility plus resource availability becomes so limited minimalism and primitivism will become engrained. I read ' the stone age did not end because stones ran out'. However flintstone mines dug deep and to their ends like gold mines nowadays forced the adoption of copper, bronze and other metals. Ever deeper coal mines in middle ages Europe forced us to pump out water from depths mechanically and then to invent steanm engine serendipitously for this purpose, leading to our modern, fossil fuel based 250 year long extravagant civilization which seems now to be petering out in the next generation or two. It was fun while it lasted. 'Party like it' s 1999, Party over, end of time'.
