Food Crisis in Pakistan

We have hit peak population most places and numbers are slowly declining. In some countries maybe tradition of large families remains even though exponential growth of population doubling every generation or two in small land area is self defeating, leading to conflict, starvation, war.  Short term aid leads to relief but solutions must be found. Spending 80% of income on food is insane. In 1804 we hit 1 billion people globally. In 1927 it was 2 billion and when I was born in mid 60s it was 3 billion. Now there are 5 billion more, mostly in places like Pakistan where mass starvation is likely imminent. Then who will we blame? A transition to small families due to low death rates and better education is natural. However if not followed then we get disaster. If resources suddenly are scarce due to climate disasters or energy shortages then millions might die.
