Couples Sex Frequency by Age with Advice

https://www.mindbodygreen.com/articles/how-often-married-couples-have-sex

The basic problem in a relationship, where of course nothing is standardized, is that the desire and stimulant for sex is hormonal-energetic(chakra-endocrine system). With age these systems slow down so there is less impulse or less frequency of desire. Fitness fades with age, bellies grow, heart fitness slows. Older men classically attempt to compensate their low sexual desire by observing/partnering with a young woman to revive his youthfulness. This can result in a heart attack if he attempts to impress her with long sexscapades in athletic positions several times per week. In general though sexual energy remains balanced with all the energies in the body. One does not get ordained into the priesthood, become a buddhist monk or sadhu and take vows of celibacy and realistically expect to have a pure and loving heart, deep experiences of spiritual bliss and a sudden cessation of sexual desire for life. In fact strong physical, mental and emotional discipline with meditation, yoga, healthy eating and social habits can strengthen the entire bodily system, making one more virile than before but with a moral dilemma. This ends in whisky priests with lovers, children or other hypocrisies. Medieval French priests visited brothels openly. Modern life, couch potatoism, sitting all day at a desk, driving for hours, rarely getting fresh air or walks or sport ensures deadening of sensitivity, sympathy and sexuality along with general health. So increasing sex drive goes hand in hand with increased health which we obtain from a disciplined and often spiritual lifestyle. However as we learn to balance our energies we learn to love with our hearts, express ourselves with our voices, think analytically, control emotions through our gut, enjoy deep blissfulness of the upper chakra as well as sexuality. IOW, this should all balance out. Strong sexual urges should be observed, not roundly condemned. Just in the same way one should not focus exclusively on always being in a state of bliss ( crown chakra)or having everything under control(belly chakra). Universal good is what is appropriate in the moment, learned through experience. Too much consistency is damaging. An intellectual lives in his head, an athlete in his body, a guru above the clouds, a young mother perhaps in the heart, a young lover perhaps in heart and genitals. With age the upper chakras might get more usage and experience leads to balance in general usage of all parts of the system.
