Basically the universities have become leftist ideologically, training teachers for schools who are the same. Gendering is part of this ideology, i.e. that male and female sex are imaginary constructs. This has been slipped by into de facto policy without a public debate. Here is the blowback. This is like the abortion debate in the 80s, a god send for the Republicans. Now that gay marriage is a non-issue they need a rallying cry. It is child mutilation in the name of big medical profits and a sort of gender grooming industry. This is an own goal of the left wing if Trump can ride it to power. Maybe people will be impressed and he will get a boost. Political theater is interesting and he is speaking directly and forcefully. Others can however copy this and take his votes. However as the first to articulate this on a national level he will have credibility. The question is whether preaching to the choir will help him any and the coasts will continue to praise gender reassignment of minors. Perhaps like abortion, state specific laws will dominate. Perhaps singles ads in California will be suspicious to outsiide visitors as who knows what is really your date's birth sex? Texans will pride themselves on a ban on transsexualism. What will the future bring?
