Europeans Negative Stereotypes of Americans

My wife thinks I am so uncultured, uncouth, backwoods. I grew up in Alaska. This could account for it as my Irish labourer father was pioneer material pure. My mother came from Oxford England so the juxtaposition was huge. Notice my various skill sets in life are all over the board, a real mongrel. This has advantages of course. But a purebreed European educated middle class will look maybe to upper class coastal elites for similar values in the states.
