Psychology is also ideological indoctrination. Blame childhood parenting, environment and not perhaps your genetics or two of my favorites, your horoscope or past life karmic choices. IOW atheism has limited our scope of self reliance on God, our own morality, personal decisions and left us seeking some mechanism to blame our personality problems. Maybe lots of problems are just societal. If we grew up in the countryside or had had a wealthier family everything would have been better but instead psychiatrists blame mother or father deficiencies. Karma or horoscope or genetics are also deficient by themselves leading to resignation but taken together much can be done.
