https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limerick_(poetry)
The standard form of a limerick is a stanza of five lines, with the first, second and fifth rhyming with one another and having three feet of three syllables each; and the shorter third and fourth lines also rhyming with each other, but having only two feet of three syllables. The third and fourth lines are usually anapaestic. The first, second and fifth are usually either anapaests or amphibrachs[8].
The first line traditionally introduces a person and a place, with the place appearing at the end of the first line and establishing the rhyme scheme for the second and fifth lines. In early limericks, the last line was often essentially a repeat of the first line, although this is no longer customary.
The limerick packs laughs anatomical
Into space that is quite economical.
But the good ones I've seen
So seldom are clean
And the clean ones so seldom are comical.[4]
my first tries with offrhymes
The Presiident he is quite feisty
though nobody sees him as nicety
he came from new york
born with a golden fork
through luck with a roll of the dicedy
we now have to all wear a mask
this is really becoming a difficult task
going in, coming out
we get all in a pout
and the stress leads to drink gin in a flask
young women are really quite gentle
if males did not go so mental
looking so much at them
at their skirts and hem
they could keep their minds on the rental
friends we all have so many
jim, jack, louie and benny
they tell us our faults
if perchance we might halt
advice costs us nary a penny
last pope was conservative type
this new one make leftist tripe
politics like in congress
religion the same mess
the whole culture is spoiled overripe
vacation I had no more sunshine
but clouds and rain were all mine
I took many long walk
it was easy to talk
and for me to learn how to make rhyme
