If English speakers bother to translate this with google, I find it interesting that until recently people of both faiths were in denial about the history of Jesus as Jewish and the whole bible as such written by Jews. Christianity developed from one of several Jewish sects to a universal religion belonging to non semitic ethnics who blamed the original Jewish peoples( amongst competing sectarians in effect in Roman Judaea) of killing ' God' and that for all time their descendants had blood guilt. Only the holocaust got the German churches to distance themselves from Jesus as the only path to salvation, God, enlightenment, effectively damning previous to this all other faiths to being persona non grata or like in the middle ages by excommunication liable to be killed at will by anyone for example. Since no other faiths existed in Europe ( witches having been burnt at the stake for their shamanistic traditions to wipe out last vestiges of ancient celtic/ germanic faiths) except Judaism this left them in a precarious position. Like learning about our evolutionary history, plate tectonics, ice ages and comparative religions( Buddhism vs Hinduism, Christianity vs Islam, etc) it is important to know how we arrived here. Modern linear progress and belief in technology, search for alien life and a path to the stars is an outgrowth of middle eastern religious traditions in general from ancient times. East Asian traditions are cyclical, not catastrophic/ messianic and seek truth within. I prefer this path, particularly as absolute truth espoused by linear doctrines drives one to extremist paths like mass murder. Genocide is typical in societies with a unique external deity representing a tribe, be it a small one in Celtic or Germanic times or The USA with its messianic fervor.
