I saw part of this yesterday and strangely my thoughts quieted especially while meditating this morning. Usually I get nowhere on this but it lasted long afterwards. I generally focus on my feelings, sensations. I suppose mine is a bottom up technique instead of trying to repress feelings of which thoughts are the tip of the iceberg I have learned mood control which eventually settles the symbols which pop up in the head representing emotional and bodily occurences.
