Chocoholic here and kefir drinker with small meat intake, eat whole grains, almonds. Lots of good tips.  Basically you don't know you are sick until you find true health. Like one reads of people who do a wilderness retreat with mountain air, fresh water, yoga, walking, meditation, low screen time. Then they take this information back home and start to transform their lives with dietc, sport, meditation, etc. 

I keep getting deeper into my spirituality and wonder each year or so how far I have gotten compared to earlier. How unhappy I was in comparison to now. But as long as we are always improving gradually it is ok as the comparison is positive and we have better days to look forward to.
